Meet The Team

In August 2024, Douglas Mennonite Church welcomed Paul Walker as the Intentional Interim Transition Pastor. Paul, along with his wife Kaylee and children Olivia and Benjamin, is excited to join the Douglas Mennonite family. With 15 years of diverse ministry experience and a strong academic background, Paul brings enthusiasm and fresh perspectives to guide the congregation through transition. Known for engaging sermons and a leadership style blending curiosity and care, he’s passionate about equipping the church to live out her mission in new ways. He’s committed to fostering genuine connections and sees DMC’s season of transition as an opportunity to strengthen bonds and discover new ways of being the church together. Paul’s varied interests, from theology to pop culture, inform his approach to ministry and life.

When Paul is not attending to the daily tasks of ministry, you might find Paul brewing the perfect espresso in his office (he’s admittedly a coffee snob) or lost in the pages of a theology book or biography. He’s always ready to discuss why he believes “The Lord of the Rings” is the greatest trilogy ever made! As Douglas Mennonite Church steps into this new season, Paul Walker is here to brew up some fresh ideas, spark engaging conversations, and help the congregation discover the exciting path Jesus has laid out before us. Join him for a coffee and a chat – and be prepared for an adventure in faith, friendship, and fantastic espresso!
