Lead Pastor
Niyousha Mohseni:
Administrative Assistant
Niyousha Mohseni serves as the Administrative Assistant at Douglas Mennonite Church, supporting the day to day rhythms of our life together as a church. She helps ensure that our ministries are organized, our communication is clear, and our community is well cared for.
She moved to Winnipeg in 2023 alongside with her husband Meead. They have both served at the MCC Kildonan Thrift Shop as valuable members of their team.
As part of our staff team, Niyousha contributes with humility, flexibility, and a strong desire to support others. She brings a genuine love for people and a desire to be part of a Christ-centered community. We are grateful for the care, joy, and dedication she brings to Douglas Mennonite Church.
Ryan Murray
Family Pastor
Ryan serves as the Family Pastor at Douglas Mennonite Church, overseeing our kids, youth, and young adult ministries. He is passionate about walking alongside families and supporting parents as the primary spiritual caregivers of their children.
With over a decade of experience in family ministry, Ryan brings a deep commitment to helping young people grow in their faith and discover their place within the Church. He also serves as a co-director of The ASMBLY, a ministry that gathers hundreds of youth from across Manitoba for worship.
Ryan and his wife, Laura, have three sons: Elias, Jack, and Henry. When he finds spare time between ministry and family life, Ryan enjoys reading a good fantasy novel or playing a solo board game (the nerdy kind). We are grateful for the experience, care, and enthusiasm Ryan brings to our church family.
