Kids
Sunday Mornings
DMC Kids helps children ages three through Grade 5 grow as disciples of Jesus who love God and others. We want every child to discover four foundational truths: God loves me, Jesus knows me, the Spirit leads me, and I am a child of God.
Each Sunday, children begin with their families in sung worship before heading downstairs for a relational, structured, and safe experience. In our Pre-K/Kindergarten and Elementary groups, kids enjoy a craft and activity, hear from the Big God Story, and explore what they’ve learned in small groups with trained leaders. As a neighbourhood church, we care about the whole family and want every child to feel known, welcomed, and supported as they grow in faith.
Your First Visit
DMC Kids is on Sunday mornings for children ages 3–5 and students in Grades 1–5. New families should arrive 15 minutes before the service to allow time for registration and check-in.
You can save time by pre-registering your family before your first visit.
A Safe Place for Kids
Your child’s safety matters to us. We use secure pickup tags, carefully screen and conduct background checks on our volunteers, and maintain safe leader-to-child ratios. If we need to reach you during the service, we’ll contact you by text message.

Youth
Sundays, 6:30-8:30 PM
DMC Youth helps students in Grades 6–12 grow as disciples of Jesus who love God and others. We want to see an emerging generation who know they are loved by the Father, centred on the Son, empowered by the Spirit, and sent into the world to shine in their friendships, schools, and communities.
Each Sunday night, we create a relational space where students can explore faith honestly, build genuine friendships, and discover how God’s story speaks into our everyday life. Together, we engage three important questions young people are asking: Who am I? Where do I fit? What difference can I make? Students don’t need church experience or certainty about faith to join us. Everyone can belong here.
Your First Visit
New students and families can complete our New Family Form before attending.
Experiences Beyond Sunday Night
Throughout the year, students connect through special events such as A-Maze-In Corn, paintball, Activate games, and our annual spring retreat. Students in Grades 9–12 can also participate in SOAR Heartland, a local discipleship and service experience held during spring break.
A Safe Place for Students
Student safety matters to us. Our volunteers are carefully screened and background checked, and we maintain appropriate leader-to-student ratios. If needed during a gathering, we will contact a parent or guardian by text message.

Young Adults
Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 PM
DMC Young Adults is a community for people ages 18–30 who want to build meaningful relationships and explore following Jesus together. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus who love God and other people. Whether you are in college, building a career, single, married, or raising a family, you are welcome and encouraged to join us.
We make room for authentic friendships, honest questions, and practical faith. We hope our community will know they are loved by the Father, centred on the Son, and empowered by the Spirit to be sent into the world. You don’t need to have faith figured out. This is a place to explore a life centred on Jesus and grow alongside others.
What to Expect
When we gather, we share a meal, study the Bible, hear personal testimonies, pray for one another, and share Communion. Our gatherings offer space to slow down, listen, ask questions, and encourage one another.
Once a month, we plan a special social outing. You might find us playing games at The Rec Room, going bowling, skating at The Forks, or trying something new together. These relaxed gatherings are an easy way to meet people, strengthen relationships, and invite someone along.

Seniors’ Bible Study
Meets Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the upper foyer.
Women's Bible Study
On select evenings throughout the year, we meet and study God's Word together. These evenings are a real highlight for those who come! Contact office@douglasmc.ca for dates and series info.
MOMs
Our Morning Out for Moms is a great way to connect with other moms over a hot cup of coffee (or tea!). Mornings together include devotionals, guest speakers, some fun activities and/or catching up on the joys of Motherhood. This group meets Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11 a.m. and childcare is provided.
