KIDS MINISTRY

We continue to offer fun and unique ways to connect with each other and with God!
Sunday Morning Kidz Church
This is worship time for those in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5! We start off in the sanctuary and then make our way to the DMC Basement for Kidz Church: a kid-friendly space with a rich variety of activities, games, crafts, demos, videos to explore the Bible around the broad themes of “God knows me. Jesus loves me. The Holy Spirit leads me. I am a child of God.”
‘Faith & Family Nights’ from 6:30-7:30 pm on most Wednesday nights
Whether you are a grandparent, aunt or uncle or a dear friend of the family, we welcome you and your child(ren) to these. We will be taking a closer look at some of the passages that might seem familiar to us… and discovering even more of what they have to say. Our prayer is that this will be a time of both family building and community building. After we conclude with our devotional, we’ll spend the last half of our time together being more ‘active’… that might include a scavenger hunt, gym games, sundae making or even a pizza night!
Please register your child(ren) by going to our sign up page and filling out the form. It doesn’t take long but helps us a great deal to ensure we have enough supplies on hand! Feel free to contact tobia@douglasmc.ca for more detailed information.​
YOUTH​
Youth at Douglas Mennonite Church is from grades 6-12. Activities include Bible Studies, service nights, large events (SkyZone, bonfires, games nights, etc.), and retreats. Trips for Youth include SOAR Heartland, Riverton, and Urban Plunge (grade 8s).

Regularly scheduled events take place on Sundays (grades 9-12) and Tuesdays (grades 6-8). For up to date information, check the church calendar or ask the church office to be on the email list.

We meet intermittently throughout the year. Email the church office for more information.

Seniors’ Bible Study
Meets Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the upper foyer.

Men's Pickleball
Join us on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. as we tackle the court! This is a great evening to get together and try out your pickleball skills. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Women's Bible Study
On select Monday evenings throughout the year, we meet and study God's Word together. These evenings are a real highlight for those who come! Contact office@douglasmc.ca for dates and series info.

MOMs
Our Morning Out for Moms is a great way to connect with other moms over a hot cup of coffee (or tea!). Mornings together include devotionals, guest speakers, some fun activities and/or catching up on the joys of Motherhood. This group meets Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11 a.m. and childcare is provided.
